A Heaven for
Farming Innovation

Welcome to Uttarakhand, the picturesque backdrop for the 3rd Asia Horti Organic & Ayurveda Expo 2024. Nestled amidst the serene landscapes of Dehradun, Uttarakhand offers a compelling setting for our exhibition, enriched by its abundant natural resources and thriving agricultural practices.

As a state blessed with rich minerals and diverse topography, Uttarakhand serves as the primary source of livelihood for over 70% of its population. From the fertile plains to the verdant hills, agriculture plays a vital role in sustaining communities across the region. While commercial farming flourishes in the plains, hill farmers predominantly engage in subsistence farming, cultivating a wide array of crops.

Uttarakhand's unique geography is reflected in its four agro-climatic zones, encompassing six altitudinal farming approaches. This diversity creates a fertile ground for the cultivation of various crops, including rice, wheat, sugarcane, maize, soybean, pulses, oilseeds, as well as an abundance of fruits and vegetables.

Join us in Uttarakhand, where the convergence of natural bounty and agricultural expertise promises an enriching experience at the forefront of horticulture, organic farming, and Ayurveda practices.
